MixerProNET is a powerful .NET library that provides access to the lines and controls of installed sound card. Control volume, mute states, recording sources, obtain information about the sound card's driver name, version, etcetera. Introduced in version 2.0, MixerProNET adds supports for Core Audio, the new set of mixer API's available in Windows Vista and Windows 7.
Version 2.1 adds the ability to set the default audio device under Windows Vista and Windows 7. Also, included in version 2.1, there's a user control that mimics the look and feel and bahvior of the custom TrackBar control used in the Mixer application (sndvol.exe) included with Windows.
